Great diner in the cute little town of Phonecia. In the summer they offer a food truck with a great outdoor dining area. Food is excellent. Pro tip - go after a hike nearby or tubing at Town Tinker!

A little bit of a trek from Hunter but worth the drive. Andes is an adorable town and you'll get some pretty incredible views along the way. The cidery has bonfires going in the outdoor space, great food options and of course, excellent local cider.

Tubing down the Esopus river is a really fun thing to do in the summer! Check out the website and book a tubing session here: http://www.towntinker.com/ Note that the river is pretty easy going but can get rocky in spots.. the bruises were worth it.
