Sightseeing
A great beach with beautiful crystal clear turquoise waters. It’s a stony beach but don’t let that put you off. Great snorkelling here and if you fancy some watersports the team down there are fantastic. It gets quite busy in the summer so not recommended if you don’t like crowds, although the best time would be after 6 when everyone’s gone back for dinner :)

Not recommended on a windy day as the waves get quite big but on a lovely hot still day it is unbeatable. More space than antisamos so can be less crowded and no bars or tavernas on the beach so you don’t have the noise of the music. There is a little cafe shack offering snacks and drinks down there and sun beds in the summer. Recommend to bring your own umbrella incase all sun beds are taken in peak season. Best beach for a sea sunset in the summer 🌅

Another way to see the beautiful landscape of Kefalonia is by horseback! The stables are situated 10mins drive from Sami in a village called Zervata. Beautiful well looked after horses and a great way to see Sami from the mountains.
