Saugerties lighthouse
The lighthouse is a wonderful place to take a short walk to the river. Wear thick sole shoes not flip flops due to sharp water chestnuts along the path. High tide can sometimes make the trail wet in places. There is a small parking lot at the end of lighthouse drive at the trail head, you can also access by boat.
Great place to enjoy a pack lunch.
