Beautiful Olmstead-designed park across the entire Northeastern height of land of the Portland promenade. Beautiful views across the harbor and up Casco Bay. Awesome spot to hang for the afternoon with a picnic, and the paved trail along the shoreline is a great place for a walk. There's also East End Beach right at the base, a great place to take the dog or go for a quick dip in Casco Bay!

Street parking in the surrounding neighborhoods, or a formal beach parking lot on Willow Street. On the north end of the beach is a fun old fort with a long breakwater you can walk to the Spring Point Ledge Lighthouse.
