If you’re up for a drive head to Damariscotta. Great shops, restaurants, and views. There are a lot of oyster beds in that area and this town offers an Oyster & Wine Pairing Boat Cruise.

Visit Kennepunkport center. It’s beautiful. Make sure to take a ride around the Bush Residence. It’s really a gorgeous spot.
In that same area (but not within walking distance) is a great fish market called Langsford Road Lobster & Fish. They also have the best clam chowder around.
Up the street from Langsford is my favorite gift shop called Farm + Table.

If you have a pup with you and can take some time out to travel to this brewery, we recommend Funky Bow Brewing Company. They’re located in Lyman ME which is about 35 minutes from the house. Great beer, pizza, and live music. The best part is that they have a pretty strict No Leash Law – All Pups Run Free. Mostly our dogs hang around the pizza ovens.
