Amazing BBQ, great decor, and super friendly staff/management. The fried pickles are amazing as a side and definitely recommended. The ribs are some of the best you will have and definitely worth the price. The brisket is very good and some of the best I've had outside of Texas. I had an Old Fashioned which was strong and made well. Though a bit pricey, you will walk away satisfied and your hunger will be satiated.

Sightseeing
One of my favorite spots to visit. The hike is mediocre, as in it's not too crazy and it's not too easy. It's perfect, takes about 20-30 minutes to reach the falls. The view and scenery of the place are truly breathtaking, I've visited during all 4 seasons and it's really something to see. I try my best to come to visit every year whenever I get the chance.
Just note: During the Spring/Summer be prepared for extreme humidity and wet grounds as it can get slippery.

Kaaterskill Falls Trail Head

Hunter mountain taste of country Festival is great every year.
Best festival I have been to. In a perfect mountain location. Where the mountain sits creates a natural amphitheater, music can be heard from everywhere. Being a hiker I hiked to the top of the mountain each morning. It's often cold at Hunter mountain, I suggest bring warm clothes and a jacket.
