MINERAL NON-SPRAY SUNSCREEN
Hawaii has banned any sunscreen that is not reed safe. However people often still pack it to bring here not knowing that it is detrimental to our ocean reefs. Please ONLY purchase sunscreen that says MINERAL on it as others will still harm the reef. Also, the spray sunscreens particles are too small and will also damage the reef. Plus it’s considered rude spraying them as they are very hard to get off of boats, decks have to be repainted etc. Please be a courteous traveler and buy the mineral lotions. Mahalo 🙌🏽
