Friendly family run restaurant with a great atmosphere right on the beach strip and serving White Rock for over 38 years. Large heated outdoor patio. Great food, large portions, good vegetarian selections (moussaka is my favourite), fresh made pita, every menu item is exceptional and food is consistent. Nice selection of seafood dishes. Tasty greek salad. Belly dancers 8 pm Fri. & Sat. night and reservations recommended. Open for lunch & dinner from 11:30am daily. Great for large groups or romantic dinner for two. A Local Favourite!

Famous Fish & Chips since 1975....a favourite with the locals! Quaint seaside restaurant that offers large portions (1 extra piece of fish per order) and unique decor with interesting ornaments covering the inside walls and ceilings. The inside space is extremely small and not conducive to larger groups. Nice enclosed outdoor patio for the summer months. Take out window offers the same menu for items to go....enjoy your meal at a picnic table across the tracks on the beach or take back to your room. Expect long waits in the summer months to be seated averaging 15-25 min. A few benches are provided or take a short walk along the promenade. Open 11:30am-8:00pm

Sightseeing

The seaside community of White Rock is home to the longest pier in Canada at 1500 feet paired with a 2.5 km (1.5553 miles) promenade that spans both east and west beaches. The pier is famous for fishing, crabbing and jumping into clear waters below. You can ofter see coloured starfish clinging to the rocks below the end of the pier. Easterly views are of Mt.Baker, Birch Bay, WA and the famous 4 meter high, 486 tonnes White Rock that gave the community it's name. A short walk further east will reveal Totem poles called 'The Gift' that honour the cultures of the RCMP and Semiahmoo First Nations. Views to the west are of the gulf islands, Point Roberts, WA and Vancouver Island. Back on the promenade and just a short stroll to the west you will pass the White Rock museum housed in the old train station (with window made famous from popular tv show Psych). Admission is by donation. Warm waters are good for swimming and skim boarding is a past time for many youth on the tidal pools found on East beach. Paddle board and kayak rentals can be found at the far end of the west beach promenade. Above the promenade you will find the strip lined with restaurants, fish'n chips, ice cream small gift shops. Dolce Gelato above the pier is my favourite and made fresh daily. Try a different flavour every day of the week.
