For an Asian buffet, this is my favorite....more extensive choices on the sushi bar area than most other buffets and a much nicer ambiance...and in my opinion, much better quality and flavor of food compared to other local buffets. That quality is reflected in the price, so it's not the least expensive buffet around, but if you happen to find yourself in nearby Aventura it's worth a stop to satisfy your Asian buffet craving.

Call before you go, an if they do have live music that night I'd take a trip. (As several of my other recommendations, this is also on the intracoastal and has also been around for ages....)

Second largest outlet mall in the nation. People bring a suitcase with them when they go shopping there to facilitate in carrying around your purchases. The place is huge and you can easily spend an entire few days there shopping. Restaurant choices and a movie theater as well.

Parks & Nature
Wonderful beach less than 1 mile away. There is a BROADwalk (not boardwalk) lining the beach with ample restaurant and bar choices. Tiki hut bar at the Margaritaville resort. A separate lane for bicycling, roller-blading, running, etc. In my opinion, the best beach in South Florida, because there are no cars or roads between you and the beach as there are in Ft Lauderdale or South Beach Miami. You can rent bikes and lounge chairs on the beach as well.
