If you really want to eat on Fisherman's Wharf, this is the only spot I'd recommend. Their clam chowder is the best and they serve it in a bread bowl that's toasted with garlic and covered in cheese!

Rent a bike and go for a ride! Cruise the bike path that hugs the coast or go check out 17 mile drive (they don't charge entry for bikes, only cars.) Get some fresh ocean air in those lungs!

The best beach on the peninsula! It is an off-leash dog beach so we go all the time. The sand is whiter and the water bluer than any of the other beaches.

Beautiful hiking area. It costs $10 per car to get in, but its worth it. The trails are fairly easy, it's more about the views than the exercise.

A beautiful park for a picnic or just a quick look around. It's small, but the views are wonderful! Tip: there are nice new public bathrooms located by the pool.
