This gorgeous park is situated in downtown Vancouver. You can bike, run, or walk around the 10k seawall. Stanley park has many attractions, beautiful views, gardens, tennis courts, Totem poles and a beach! There is also an aquarium, check out the Vancouver Aquarium website for more details. It is a 30 minute bus ride from our Airbnb.

This park is Vancouver's horticultural jewel. It is the backdrop for many wedding photos because of it's gorgeous floral displays and views. You can stop by the restaurant for some food or bring along your own food for a picnic.

The Botanical gardens aren't just gardens, there's a conservatory as well! They have a variety of different plants as well as a stone garden and a maze. They even prepare self-guided tour. The gardens are open almost year round.

Ambleside is great place to go for a day. There is shopping near, in Park Royal and there's a beach with easy and full access to the water. There is also a golfing range nearby if you want to golf.

Hikes
This is a great option if you want to do a beautiful hike and experience a suspension bridge for free! You can even swim in the water or walk across the rapids- but beware, the water can be very chilly! Lynn Canyon is only a 15 minute bus ride from our Airbnb and we suggest, if you're using Google maps, to put in the End of the Line General Store as your destination. It gets you right to the beginning of the trails!

3663 Park RdThis is a great option if you want to do a beautiful hike and experience a suspension bridge for free! You can even swim in the water or walk across the rapids- but beware, the water can be very chilly! Lynn Canyon is only a 15 minute bus ride from our Airbnb and we suggest, if you're using Google maps, to put in the End of the Line General Store as your destination. It gets you right to the beginning of the trails!

On the Treetops Adventures, you'll cross 7 suspended footbridges with views 110 feet above the forest floor, offering a unique squirrel's eye view of the forest. You can also Cliffwalk along the narrow bridges on a granite precipice along the Capilano River. You can learn about Raptors at Raptors Ridge (at certain times throughout the year). Or learn about the history of the park and all that it contains!
