Sightseeing

Coconut Grove remains a charming, bayside village within the urban dynamic of Miami. The Grove, as it's commonly called, is the oldest continuously inhabited neighborhood of Miami. The pedestrian friendly village center in Coconut Grove is filled with sidewalk cafes, galleries and boutiques. The small bohemian village feel is countered by recognizable chain restaurants, but small local cafes, college bars and independent boutiques still line the streets. Pull up a chair outside, watch the assortment of shoppers, bar-hoppers, students and tourists stroll the streets and enjoy the laid-back ambience. Coconut Grove's relaxed atmosphere extends into the many open-air bay front parks in the area, including Peacock Park, Kennedy Park, The Barnacle Historic State Park and more. Coconut Grove is also home to many popular annual events.

Oleta River State Park is Florida's largest urban park, located right on the Oleta River on Biscayne Bay in Sunny Isles Beach. The sandy beach at Oleta faces Biscayne Bay, which is also where you go swimming. Palm trees, seagrape trees and other native vegetation provide shade. Oleta offers miles and miles of off-road bicycle trails, from novice to challenging. The park has a loaner system for bicycle helmets. Oleta River State Park is also a popular destination for canoeing and kayaking. There's a rental concession with all the gear you need to paddle along Miami's calm bay waters. For overnight visits, the park has rustic, air-conditioned cabins and a youth campground for organized groups. Large mangrove preserves, native to the area, are at the north end of the park and South Florida plants and wildlife are plentiful in this area. Canoe or kayak around the clear beautiful waters, swim along the 1,200 foot sandy beach, or go fishing for a day of the great outdoors.

if you want to go the beach I suggest to go to 14th street. it s a strategic point because you have the restrooms right at the beach entrance, shower, Walgreens where you can buy water, fruit, chips or anything you need without spending a lot of money and also on the beach you have the boucher brother kiosk where you can rent sun umbrellas, cabanas, chairs and even a luxury bed where to lie under the sun.

Everything Else

Miami Beach, Florida's picturesque winter playground, has blossomed into a sophisticated community that’s full of visitors no matter the season. Read a book or chat with your travel companion on the edge of the beach. Wake up in a world-class accommodation - a boutique hotel in a restored deco building or an oceanfront resort. Later, visit museums and take a walk, or a jog, in a park with 360-degree views of the Atlantic Ocean. Shop at your favorite stores and discover unique boutiques with the perfect clothes, accessories, or home goods to take home and remember your trip by. Play eighteen holes at a nearby golf course. The food is spectacular; the seafood caught daily. If you're ready to turn in early after a day at the spa, we understand, but if your night is just starting when the sun goes down, there's a party every night. Miami Beach has it all.
