Hikes
From the beautiful Winter Clove Inn, you can hike numerous trails. Most of them are on trails.com. Our favorite so far is Rip's Rock. It is 5 miles long and strenuous at times. Our 12 and 5 year old hiked it with ease in the winter. In the summer, heat made it very hard.

If you just want to go for a 'civilized' walk (or run) on a prepped path that is short, flat and easy, then the Windham Path is great. In the winter, the area is great for cross country skiing as well.

This resort is also a hub for hiking trails and mountain biking trails. Our favorite is the 0.5 mile short hike to the Riedlbauer Falls. The resort often has events, so look out for Oktoberfest etc.
