Cambutal is pretty small and you can usually walk to where you need to go. Most of the hotels and restaurants are in walking distance. The beach break surf spot is also with in walking distance. The other surf spots you will need to drive to.

Kids love Cambutal
Cambutal beach is a great beach for kids, especially at low tide. If you walk down to Playa Cambutal and head to the right, walk all the way to the first point and there is a great little rock pool area for young kids and a calm place to swim with no waves.
Kids love the ocean. We have two very experienced surf instructors in Cambutal who are great instructors for kids ready to learn to surf!
