The Hawk Cabin is cozy and comfortable. Deep, rich colors, down comforters and a mix of good pillows, all add to the elegant rustic feel you will experience when staying in our rooms at the Hoh Rainforest Resort.

This cabin is a studio/hotel room style accommodation ***It is not a tiny house***

This Cabin has two quality comfort memory foam queen size beds with high end bedding, and extra pillows and throw blankets. It has a private 3/4 bathroom, a coffee and tea station with mini fridge and microwave, with a full community kitchen outside equipped with bbq and gas stove for more in depth meal prep. Light limiting curtains run the length of the window to the floor, in deep shades of blue for a rich, elegant touch that makes you want to crawl in bed and get cozy!

We offer feather/down pillows and comforters with all of our sleeping accommodations. We are happy to replace the sheets, pillows and comforters prior to your stay with non-allergen material linens if your request that at the time of booking, or anytime prior to your stay. Forks has some the most pristine waters in the U.S. including the Hoh, Sol Duc, Bogachiel and Calawah Rivers. The magnificent coastal beaches range from Shi Shi and Cape Flattery on the Northern end, to Rialto beach and along the miles of coastline of the beaches of La Push, and just 30 minutes further south to Ruby beach, a local treasure, and Klahloch.

Fishing, hiking, wildlife and nature viewing are some of the most popular activities the area is known for. Northwest Culture is explained through exhibits at the Makah and the Timber Museum. Adventures that only the Pacific Northwest can offer can be found right at your fingertips, just a short drive from our property.

Forks is also home to one of the most carefully preserved rainforests in the world ~ the Hoh Rainforest. People come from all over the globe to drive and hike through this national wonder.

There is no shortage of sites to see and activities to keep you entertained and inspired ~ some just minutes from your doorstep at the Hoh Rainforest Resort. We love to talk to our guests about all the things to do and eat while they are here, so be sure to ask if you have any questions at all!

Hello, my name is Heidi. As of July 2018 I am the owner of the Hoh Rainforest Resort, (formerly the Huckleberry Lodge). This little spot on the map is definitely one of my happy places. I first discovered it on a getaway out to the West End, Washington state’s most westerly coastal peninsula, where I've been enjoying walking around the woods for years. I immediately fell in love with this “little slice of heaven”, as it has been consistently referred to by many. I acquired the property in 2018 and now I’m learning how to operate this kind of business. Most of the time things go smoothly and people are very happy and the reviews reflect that. Every once-in-a-while “life” happens and somebody “drops the ball”. The experiences I’ve had so far have kept me on my toes and I’m enjoying the challenges and the delights. Our mission, however, is simple, and completely oriented around our guest experience. I really bought this property to share and enjoy with people from all around the world. If you’re happy I’m happy, and I will do whatever is in my power to facilitate that. When I connect with you, usually around the community campfire in the evenings or walking by in the afternoon (on the weekends), it makes this all worth it.

Whether you are here to visit the Hoh Rain Forest, the most carefully preserved rain forest in the northern hemisphere, any one of the long stretches of pristine, scenic beaches along the Pacific coast, or you're visiting the area because the fishing is some of the best in the world, we would love to get to meet you and offer anything we can to add to your experience while you are here.
