This is a quiet and private apartment that has been newly renovated. It has a light filled open living area with a kitchen, eating area, couch and TV, solid bamboo tongue & groove floors. Kitchen offers full size appliances and all accessories for cooking. Bathroom has a large shower, pedestal sink, and tile floor. Bedroom consists of a queen size bed, bureau, 2 night-stands, closet, ceiling fan, and egress door in case of emergencies. Suite has a fire extinguisher, is wired with smoke and CO2 detectors, and has an emergency egress door in bedroom. There is a TV with a Smart DVD player but no cable or regular TV service (remember to bring your Netflix/ HULU/Amazon or other app account info). Guests have their own entrance through an entryway with a coat closet. Off street parking, internet, walk to everything.

I began visiting Maine in the mid 1970's during summers off from school. As soon as I graduated from high school I moved up. I've lived here since 1979, having migrated from Long Island, NY. I travel quite a bit as an adventurer, motorcycle enthusiast, and fine art photographer. I've lived in other places for short periods of time but I live in Maine by choice.

I feel blessed every time I'm out enjoying the area with a ferry ride across the bay to one of the islands, or sailing with friends, or hiking inland trails, or swimming in the fabulous lakes, or motorcycling down to Pemaquid Point Lighthouse. Anything that gets you outside will be a worthwhile endeavor. The views are breathtaking and to be out in it is what I consider living life.

The community here has a lot to offer. I enjoy yoga, dance, concerts, and seeing live music whenever I can. I'm an African drummer and our group performs on stage, in parks, and at street fairs. Being a fine art photographer I enjoy our thriving artist community and the culture that it brings to the area. Speaking of culture, it is only recently that we have such a wide variety of cuisine options - another thing that I am grateful for.

I love living in coastal Maine and I hope to have the opportunity to assist you in your travel experience here.
