Pembury Estate built in 1905 is situated on 10 acres. Your room has a comfortable queen bed, is charming & spacious with tall ceilings only 5 minutes walk into historic Angaston in the Barossa Valley.

We are in the heart of the Barossa Valley.
Our home is in a prime location for travelers! Set on the edge of the town of Angaston we live in a 1905 blue stone homestead built for one of the Salter family sons of Saltram wines
Our 10 acre property has 1 acre of vines, we have sheep and alpacas and 2 dogs
You have a lovely large room, a quiet environment, and as hosts we do our best to welcoming you and are sensitive to your privacy need
Our blue stone homestead, has four bedrooms with a kitchen, lounge, combined laundry / large bathroom. It is centrally heated and we find we do not require cooling due to the stone walls, but there is a fan for summer in case we have a heat wave.
We are used to sharing our home with others, as we have been providing accommodation for the last 2 years with vintage casuals working short term in wineries for vintage. You will find us to be relaxed, friendly and happy to have you stay with us.
We love our house and hope you will too. We look forward to answering any questions you may have in relation to the Barossa Valley.

Angaston is a quiet heritage town. A town walk is a must.
We are middle of the Barossa Valley close to the famous Barossa Farmers Market that is open every Saturday morning
Though we are set in a beautiful location with views up the valley overlooking vineyards and paddocks with ancient gums. We are only 5 minutes’ walk to a variety of the Barossa's top restaurants, pubs and cafes. As well as the butcher bakery, supermarket and pharmacy.
We are also right next to the walking/bike track that will take you into Angaston, Nuriootpa and now all the way to Gawler.
There are a couple of cellar doors and restaurants in Angaston within walking distance as well as many cellar door options throughout the valley.
Angaston is 8km from Tanunda and 7 km from Nuriootpa
As there is no public transport so a car is a must. Other options are booking a personalised vineyard tour, or utilising the local taxi service.

We will be sharing the living room, kitchen and bathroom. However we are social and busy people and tend to spend quite a lot of time out, so you will often have the house to yourself, but we may also have friends around from time to time.
Enjoy a drink overlooking the garden, gum trees and neighboring vines.
We have plenty of off-street parking and are situated close to the walking/bike track that is very popular with cyclists and walkers alike.
Surrounding the house is 10 acres to enjoy walking and exploring. We also have 5 Alpacas in the paddocks.
There is also a shared large bathroom with a bath, shower and hand basin and toilet
Being local we have a wealth of local knowledge we are happy to share and help guests get the most out of their stay. We can give you local tips on going out, dining, and are up to date with what’s going on in town. We don’t mind sharing what we know, but we can also be as hands off as you want.
Jonathan runs a tour business Barossa Taste Sensations and therefore has a wealth of knowledge to help you plan your day.
Pets:
We have 2 dogs. Our Kelpie- Sally, sleeps most of the day unless being bothered by our young English Springer Spaniel Baxter
If you don't want to interact with my dogs they can stay outside they are quite used to outdoor living, Baxter can be rather bouncy when you arrive he thinks hes still a puppy.
Normally we would meet our guests and provide the keys but we also have a secure key lock in place with a code in case we are unavailable.
Prior to arrival, we are reachable by email and phone.
