I’m always learning what makes it more comfortable for guests.

*PLEASE NOTE: At a discount arrange a continuaous WEEKEND GET AWAY for artist, writer, crafts person. Have a bedroom and small study/work space every weekend all fall WAITING for you. Pick up projects where you left off each time.

There are TWO bedrooms to PICK from:

ONE is soft deep blue downstairs with a king size bed and is very minimal and serene.

.THE OTHER is upstairs closer to the bath and is Vintage and various shades of pink. Both have new beds and nice pillows and linens.

There’s a little library extra room upstairs then I’m happy to share. I’m off and out of the house for full days at a time.

I’m offering a very lovely hearty breakfast.

At this time kitchen privileges are not practical but cats can keep snacks in a little fridge.

There are so many places to dine both moderately priced and fancy.

There are many places to walk. At least three great preserves along the river between here in the city of Hudson. It’s also a terrific place for biking.

I know lots of special places that I’m happy to share with my guests like great roads for biking or little Thai restaurants that nobody knows about where you can get a great dinner for $15.

My kitchen table where we have breakfast overlooks the river and all sorts of wildlife. Depending on the season one can see blue heron, white Ibis or ospray and Eagles.

I will be here to greet you and show you about. I also can pick you up at the train station for an added transportation expense. I would highly recommend having a car so that one can really explore this gorgeous valley.

I am an artist. I live in the Hudson Valley, after living years on the Upper West Side of a Manhattan with a studio in Williamsburg.

I like hosting artist looking to re-locate. I can share lots of tips.

I have my own studio separate from the house, up the road. Here I do my own work.
I also do creative interiors and other practices.

Since I adjust to all the new health standards, I live a quiet life in my home. There are very few people in and out except for guests and I clean thoroughly between bookings.

I shop at an organic , local coop or organic farmers markets. My house is eclectic, art filled and with the best view of the river north of Hudson at a decent price.

I love art and architecture, antiques and old fashion surroundings. I look forward to meeting new people. I come from the art world of New York City (which now has traveled up to the city of Hudson and all the surrounds).

I n my studio up the road from my house and I am currently working on a new series.
I am often out of the house but not far away.

I’ve lived up here for 20 years so I’m actually more knowledgeable about The Hudson Valley and its resources than I am about the New York our world. I love to share all my secret sources. I can send you off to waterfalls or a movie theater where all the newest films can be seen with no line and free parking.

I make a breakfast that can suit the individual.
I’m happy to share some coffee time but I’m perfectly content to just leave you to sit and stare as the tides change in the river.
