The University Heights neighborhood is a quiet peaceful heavily forested area. We have trail access to the forest a few houses down. We are located:
3.5 miles from Downtown Flagstaff
18 miles from Arizona Snowbowl
2 miles from Fort Tuthill (also walkable by trail)
11 miles from Lake Mary
.8 miles from nearest grocery store
.01 miles from nature trails
Basically, close to everything but you'll enjoy the peace and privacy of this subdivision.

Hello! My name is Monica and I have used this site as well as Couchsurfers for most everywhere I have traveled over the past ten years. I find I get to have a more unique experience during my travels when not in a hotel. I am a laid back and respectful guest and treat host's properties as I would my own home (which is a good thing). On a more personal level, I recently settled down in Flagstaff after living in a bus for three years. My partner, Jeff, has lived here for well over 20 and we decided to open up a guest suite in our home to participate in this community as a host as well as a guest. Jeff is an archeologist for the museum and is a part time river guide for Grand Canyon whitewater trips-- safe to say he knows just about everything there is to know about Flagstaff so feel free to pick our brains as needed. I look forward to continuing to make the best of this site and all the great places in it, as well as providing an excellent stay to our future guests!
