Kailua Beach is the No. 1 beach in the US, but avoid the crowds and hassle. Enjoy the much more quiet/private part of the beach which is a short skip from the house. Feel the windward breezes sweep through this cleverly designed house. At nearly 2,000 sq ft this brand new renovation offers so much inside and out. A beautifully designed private side yard with lots of privacy. A perfect location for the beach, hikes, parks, downtown and all major roads to explore the island.

Excuse the photos. The house is 100% finished and furnished. We are working on getting professional photos taken, but I wanted to put these taken from my iPhone up for now because I know people will want to book for summer soon and this gives you an idea of the house. Our home is a newly renovated 4 bed, 2 bathroom (each bathroom has a his and hers sink) home with an open layout. It was designed for comfort and style. The house offers a full kitchen with just about any utensil or appliance you can possibly think of. The dining room has a beautiful table surrounded by artwork with seating for 6-8. We have a very fun couch with a 75" Samsung OLED TV, Sony Sonos speakers throughout and plenty of seating. Each couch section acts like a seat when you want it, but flips back to act like a chaise when you want to be extra lazy. The side yard is just beautiful. We landscaped with all kinds of beautiful tropical flowers, plants and vegetables including fruit trees. There is grass in the yard with your own grill. You will have access to an exercise area which includes a Bowflex for keeping in shape during travel. There is also an outdoor shower and laundry area outside with a granite countertop for folding clothes. This area is fenced off on both sides for privacy. The front bedroom can also act as an office. It has a desk setup as a workstation with printer, but has a Murphy bed for convenience that folds out to a very comfortable queen bed. Aside from being steps away from a more private and secluded part of Kailua beach you are still VERY close to downtown Kailua and the convenient Aikahi section of Kailua. You are also literally steps away from Kalama beach park. Kailua is a dream town. Anything you can think of or need is here. Many major branded grocery stores (Whole Foods, Safeway, Foodland, Target, Times) are all within less than a 5 minute drive from the house. In the same distance you will find 2 Starbucks, incredible local restaurants and staples like Island Snow. You can take a yoga class at Core Power Yoga, shop endlessly for yourself and people back home; really, anything you can think of is there for you. Rent a kayak from Kailua Beach Adventures down the street and kayak out to the Mokulua Islands or hike the Lanikai Pillbox Hike or SUP. Watch the sunset behind the mountains at the house and then hop in the car and drive to Honolulu to catch the "2nd" sunset over the water. If you time it right you can get two sunsets in one day!

I have 3 properties in different locations with all 5 star reviews. I am happy to send you links to the other properties so that you can see the 5-star standards I set. We live in the Ohana/back unit of the home. This is where I live in the back. The Ohana unit is detached from the main house. My auntie has been in her home for over 25 years and we know Oahu like the back of our hand. We can give you advice and interact with you as much or as little as you wish. We will be on the property, but we are in the very back fenced off from you so it doesn't feel like we are there. We are VERY strict on following the 30 day only guidelines per Bill 89 passed in Oahu. We are not a short-term rental therefore each stay must be at least 30 days without exception. This is our livlihood and it is what keeps my auntie in her home so we take this very seriously. We also do not offer discounts on the property so please do not ask. We do have pest control and landscapers that come by every couple of weeks. We do use the driveway on the side of the house to enter and exit the Ohana unit and to gather our mail/packages. We take care of many of the issues at the house, but can have a plumber, electrician, etc on site at the drop of a dime.
