Situated directly across the street from Mammoth Cave National Park, this brand new home places you right in the middle of all the area has to offer. The home comfortably sleeps eight with three queen beds and one master king bed. Relax after a long day of hiking on either the front porch facing the National Park, or on the back porch overlooking a beautiful lake.

The living room is where you'll find a large map of Mammoth Cave. The map is current and shows the boundary of the park, along with all the hiking, riding, and biking trails. In the dining room you’ll find an older hand drawn version of the Mammoth Cave trails. In the kitchen you’ll have plenty of room for cooking and preparing meals. There is a large dining room table perfect for gathering and eating after a long day of hiking. Please feel free to enjoy the complementary snacks and beverages provided to you. After a long day of activities, we want to make sure that you can rest well, so each bedroom features different mattresses and pillow types. The master bathroom features a large walk-in shower with double shower heads, and a bench. Lastly, there is a porch on both the front and back of the house along with a gas grill.

The amenities of the home are top notch, but the location is unbeatable. The home is a short 10-20 minute drive (and ride) to the Mammoth Cave Visitors Center. The time depends on how long the wait is for the Ferry. Once you’re at the visitor’s center there are many trailheads for both hiking and biking. If you’re in town for horseback riding, we are situated five minutes from both the Maple Springs trailhead and the Lincoln Trailhead. We are located less than five minutes from the Blue Holler Off-Road Park where you can rent ATVs and ride through beautiful scenery (and even some caves). They also host events throughout the summer and fall as well. There are two nice Amish farmer's markets in the area where you can get fresh fruits, vegetables, and homemade artisan pizzas.

Travel: I was fortunate to live in Bilbao, Spain for five months while in college, and travel around Europe for a month afterwards. In 2021 I lived in Argentina for almost five months. I have hiked Machu Picchu, been to the Panama Canal, and traveled through Colombia for two weeks. One of my favorite cities I've been to was Mexico City.

Interests: I enjoy running, reading, and traveling with friends. Some of my favorite books are: Shoe Dog, Rich Dad Poor Dad, and Let My People Go Surfing.

Work/Personal: I am a freelance accountant and moved to Nashville, TN at the end of 2021. I work primarily with small business owners.

Other: I began hosting on Airbnb in 2021. I am an outgoing person (for an accountant I suppose), and enjoy both spending time alone, and with friends.
