The boat is modern, clean & comfortable offering accommodation for 2 guests. A complimentary double kayak & life jackets are available to explore the area. Why not relax on our sun lounges located on the front deck or wander up to the waterfront tavern for dinner. Initial breakfast provisions. We are pooch friendly!

Why not take your special someone for a romantic escape onboard 'Eliza Jane' a fully restored 'stationary' 1947 wooden cruiser moored at Coorong Quays on Hindmarsh island across the bridge from Goolwa.

'Eliza Jane' still oozes her olde world charm with original polished wood interior but also boasts all the modern comforts required to ensure you a comfortable stay.

Front - large front top deck consisting of 2 sun lounges so you can enjoy the views, listen to the birds & sip on your favourite beverage. In the evening you can create the mood with our LED lights lining the railing around the exterior of the boat.

A cabin at the bow accommodating 2, consisting of a comfy V king size bed with hatch/skylights, port holes & a small ensuite toilet for your convenience. All linen, bedding & towels are supplied. There is also plenty of storage for your luggage.

Galley with stove, sink, bar fridge, microwave, coffee pod machine, toaster, twin dining bench &/or desk area - fully stocked kitchen utensils, initial breakfast provisions & spring drinking water.

The stern consists of 2 x double built in lounge bench seats which can also be utilised & enjoyed as a converted outdoor area.

Enter the aft deck from the jetty. An electric barbecue grill is supplied. A ladder giving you access to the the complimentary double kayak.

Entertainment: DVD player including huge selection of DVD'S, AM/FM radio, CD player, CD's, books, magazines & games provided.

For your comfort, we have reverse cycled air conditioning & a fan. Enjoy the lovely sea breezes on the water taking the edge off the heat in Summer. There is plenty of ventilation throughout the boat to enjoy the fresh air whether you're inside or out.

You also have full access with an electronic swipe card to private or shared bathroom facilities & a coin operated laundry with washing machines & a dryer. There is also an outdoor seating area with bbq facilities next to the Marina.

Don't feel like cooking? The boat is berthed 100 metres from the Islander Tavern which has gorgeous views over the marina.

Onboard, you will also have access to a comprehensive guest guide & brochures on activities/sights in the area.

Goolwa is at the mouth of the Murray River on Lake Alexandrina, 83 km south of Adelaide and 19 km from Victor Harbour. Like many river towns, Goolwa is today a tourist destination with a number of boats operating from its historic wharf. With a unique blend of historic attractions, cafes and stunning scenery, Goolwa is an ideal holiday location.

Gateway to the internationally significant wetlands of the Coorong National Park and the mighty Murray River and lakes system, the river port of Goolwa is recognised as the nation's small boat capital, and fittingly hosts the biennial Wooden Boat Festival.

It's a town tailored for watersport worshippers. You can plot a voyage of discovery on your own vessel or aboard hirecraft which range from power boats to yachts and canoes. Charter craft also cruise the Lower Murray and the Coorong.

Goolwa represents the end of the line for the River Murray, the point at which the river meets the sea. The mouth of the Murray today, however, is now a small gap between the sand hills, a direct result of the numerous locks and weirs which control the water flow along its length.

Thanks for considering to stay onboard 'Eliza Jane' at Hindmarsh Island. I purchased the beautiful wooden 27 foot cruiser last year & have spent considerable time restoring her back to her former glory. I have a great love for the outdoors & my favourite hobbies are kayaking & bird photography. I also like conversing with the extremely friendly country locals & sampling the produce & activities in the area. Originally, I purchased her for my own enjoyment, but then thought to offer the boat as an entire experience to couples or friends. For your convenience, 'Eliza Jane' is pet friendly, so your furry friend can also enjoy bonding with you on holiday.

I also co host a fabulous guesthouse at Woodside. 'ADELAIDE HILLS ESCAPE' is a popular & spotlessly clean guesthouse in the beautiful country town of Woodside. I have 3 beautiful daughters, however they certainly keep me busy with all their extra curricular activities especially over the weekends. This restricts me from getting away as frequently as I would like to. My intentions are to share what I consider to be 'SA's best kept secrets' to allow people to escape the city stress & rejuvenate. We only have one life & I believe we all need to achieve balance between work, family, health & self.

Previously I owned & operated a 100 bed backpacker accommodation facility including a travel centre, cafe', bar & entertainment venue at Glenelg Beach for a period of 8 years. I am extremely passionate about both tourism & hospitality & strive to exceed people's expectations in the process. During my time within the business I was awarded 5 State & 2 National Tourism Awards which took the backpacker industry nationally to a whole new level.
