Enjoy luxury at this stunning villa! The secluded location with amazing views compliment the unique architecture. Recently renovated, the open fire and gourmet kitchen are loved by our guests.
Located on 200 acres with much wildlife and many things to do on-site, the villa is only a few minutes drive from great wineries, beaches, golf courses and restaurants.
The beautiful fireplace and views are perfect for a romantic weekend. Alternatively several couples can enjoy this incredible place.

The master bedroom provides a private deck, incredible panoramic views, an ensuite bathroom and adjacent study with a leather sofa bed. Bedrooms 2 and 3 are serviced by a separate toilet and bathroom, and these rooms can be configured with either a king sized double bed or 2 king single beds. The main bathroom has a self standing claw foot bath.

Views from OCRE are spectacular. A telescope is provided for guests to enjoy and can be used for viewing the rural surroundings, Victor Harbor and Granite Island as well as the beautiful starry night skies. Also we have optional extras including guided astronomy experiences using a large, electric telescope.

The property includes heritage scrubland with many native birds and animals. Many kangaroos live in our scrubland and are seen daily. At night the calls of the frogs in the spring fed dams are delightful!

OCRE is centrally located within the lower Fleurieu Peninsula. The stunning house sits majestically overlooking Hindmarsh Valley with views down to the sea. There are many attractions nearby such as the Hindmarsh Falls and beautiful beaches are within 10 minutes drive, for the surfer, fisher, boatie or swimmer. The famous cellar doors of McLaren Vale are less than 30 minutes away and many fabulous restaurants are within easy reach. Lost Phoenix Farm is 5 minutes away and the Swagman Chargrill is only 10 minutes drive! Bushwalkers and nature lovers may wish to enjoy the immediate surroundings of OCRE, or the Mount Billy Conservation Park 5 minutes down the road. There are many other options in close proximity, such as the Heysen Trail and Deep Creek Conservation Park.

Growing up in South Australia in a family that enjoyed exploring the Fleurieu Peninsula, set the scene for my ongoing admiration for this special part of the world. I have always loved learning about, and exploring our natural world and farm life enables so many opportunities to do this. It has been fabulous for my husband and I to have our three children grow up where they can closely witness the circle of life and the miracles of nature, and how to help safeguard our environment.

It is such a pleasure for me to offer guests the opportunity to see nature at its best at OCRE. The bird life for example, is so special, with blue wrens, sulphur crested cockatoos, kookaburras and wedge tailed eagles to name but a few of those seen almost daily.

My greatest joy is to bring happiness to others and hosting guests at OCRE enables me to do this in so many ways.
