“The Studio Behind the Yellow Door” is an easy 1km/10min walk to the centre of historic Castlemaine. Twenty minutes from Bendigo and only 90 minutes on the main rail line from Melbourne. If you drive, you are 90 minutes on the excellent Calder Freeway.

There are some great websites on local attractions ... let your mouse do the walking and Google CASTLEMAINE.

Helen and I have made our home now in Castlemaine after 40 years in Melbourne. We love the whole idea of AIRBNB and thought we would like to continue the tradition started by the previous owner.
