Anglers' Cottage on River is a family friendly cottage in a million dollar location on the picturesque River Moyne managed by the Anglers' of Port Fairy. The cottage is in an enviable position directly on the Port Fairy River and Wharf Area and has magnificent views across the river to popular Battery Hill. The cottage is also within easy walking distance to stunning beaches, popular walking areas on Griffith Island and the town centre.

The well-appointed cottage would suit couples, families or those with fishing or boating interests. The spacious interior offers an open plan living, a sunny sitting area, dining area, two double bedrooms, fully equiped kitchen, bathroom and laundry. One bedroom has a queen size bed while the second bedroom has a double bed and two single beds. The combined lounge/dining area is comfortable all year round with reverse cycle heating and cooling. There is fresh rainwater provided for drinking and cooking which is accessed from a tap in the laundry which is linked to the rainwater tank. We provide a washing line positioned in a sunny area for your convenience. Onsite parking is available for your car and boat if required.

Angler’s Cottage on River offers the opportunity to spend your days enjoying the River Moyne with boating, fishing and promenading on the boardwalk all on your doorstep. Take in the sights along the Moyne River and enjoy watching the parade of boats sailing past the cottage from your front porch. The cottage is also within walking distance to the Port Fairy township, swimming beaches, Griffith Island, village shops, restaurants, the indoor heated pool, a playground by the river and all that Port Fairy has to offer.

In the true spirit of Airbnb we share our facilities with you so while you are our guests we are happy to assist you with your requests where possible but will also respect your privacy and therefore our cottage is solely for your use while you are staying with us. The outdoor gas BBQ is also for your use while staying at the cottage but this is a shared facility. As our club rooms and the outdoor gas BBQ are on the property we will occasionally access these for club BBQs, club meetings and fishing clinics. We will notify you of these events if you are staying in our cottage. You would be more than welcome to join us and enjoy the opportunity to socialise with the Anglers' of Port Fairy for club BBQs, fishing competitions and club meetings that are held in the clubrooms .
