My neighborhood is very laidback. The backside is secluded. The home is located approximately 8 blocks from the east side of the Southport waterfront downtown. It’s a 10 min walk to the east side and a 15-20 min walk to the west side of the waterfront. All of downtown Southport is in walking distance. There are shops and restaurants all along the way on Howe St. or you may take the side streets for a scenic view (Atlantic Dr.).
The closest bars and restaurants are within 2-3 blocks.

Other things to Note:
4-5 minute bike ride to the furthest points in Southport proper.
Driving: it is 4 minutes to the Bald Head Island/ Fort Fisher ferry, 3 minutes to the waterfront, 10-15 minutes to Oak Island/ Caswell Beach (depending on how far down you go…25 min to West Point OKI), 35 minutes to Wilmington N.C., 45 minutes to North Myrtle Beach S.C., 45 minutes to Carolina Beach N.C. (but the Fort Fisher car ferry takes you there in 30 minutes so you don't have to drive).
45 minutes to Wilmington NC airport and 1 hr 15 min to the Myrtle Beach SC airport.
