Both our houses are designed in the contemporary style. We used custom made decor and cherry tree furniture. A lot of windows, glass doors, bright and open space are inside the house. It is very quiet outside. You most likely will be alone at the beach. We share the whole sea cove with only one neighboring house. It is a pure paradise if you want to live on the beach on your own and within minutes of driving to the main local attractions. You'll be amazed of our botanical garden and landscape.

Ang tuluyan
The property offers everything your family needs for a quintessential New England vacation. With 200 feet of sea shore front, the land plot has plenty of space right near the water – about 1 acre of green lawn, great beach, shore front fire pit amphitheater, fantastic stone patio for outside dining, great evergreen botanical garden: collection of Japanese maples that have beautiful leaves changing colors three times during the spring, summer and absolutely spectacular during October - November, rosary with a number of David Austin varieties, rhododendron and azalea garden, hydrangeas of different varieties, apple trees and high bush blueberry gardens, peonies, lavender and much more.
The main house is situated just 50 feet from the water and the sound of the waves will caress your ears throughout your vacation. The large families will feel comfortable inside the main house with three bedrooms. There are views of the bay and all (9) major Acadia's mountains from both the outdoor deck and living room with floor-to-ceiling windows/sliding doors. An open floor allows for an optimal space to gather multiple generations of your family for a Maine vacation! There are 2 bathrooms, great wooden porch, and sea view balcony with 2 seating hammocks! All local attractions such as Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor village, restaurants and shops are just 15-25 minutes away by car. There are tons of great activities for children and the whole family all around! Equipped with fully furnished, gourmet open kitchen, grand dining and family room to entertain as well as plenty of spaces to curl up with a good book, this contemporary style house has everything you could want.

The attached guest house (studio) includes additional bedroom (king-size bed and a queen-size sleeper sofa), living room, bathroom, combined washer and dryer, kitchenette (featuring a sink, refrigerator, microwave and a toaster), and a dining area. The guest house is connected to the main house by a gorgeous stone path running through the bushes of hydrangeas, azaleas and many other plants that will create the impression that you live in the garden. It is a great house for a small family or a couple that want to have some privacy.

Please read any books available on the shelves or play any board games you see. We have cable TV, but you also may use a DVD player or USB or HDMI cables for connecting to your electronic devices and watching movies. TV is also WiFi connected so you can watch your Internet channels. WiFi works inside the main house and outside.

Saan ka pupunta

Trenton, Maine, Estados Unidos

The surrounding area is very quiet. Most of the homes along the shore are in use just for a few weeks during the season. There are no public paths to the shore near our place. The beach, which is in front of the house, is usually empty. Sea animals, such as porpoises and seals, fish, loons, herons, bold eagles, small birds, all possible local animals will be your visitors from time to time. There is a very good cycling loop along the Oak Point Road, Nutting Lane, Bayside Road and Goose Cove Road. Kayaking is better when water is calm (always look for the HOURLY weather forecast, especially wind direction and its strength before going far away in the sea!!!). Early morning is usually the best time to catch calm water. There are seals' rest places on the stones along the opposite shore of the bay. Wait for the low tide in the middle of the day and calm water - seals (about 200) will rest there on stones sticking out of the water. All our neighbors are very good people. They'll be happy to give you an advice of what to do if you ask. Acadia National Park is one the most popular places in the US. It takes us 15-20 minutes to reach any local attraction by car (towns, shops, restaurants, nature wanders, hiking or cycling trails). It is much better to live in a beautiful place on your own and use the touristic infrastructure only when you need it.

The beach is great at any time of the year. It’s facing the South, so the sun and the Moon are in front of the beach. Water views are amazing no matter what the weather conditions are. There are Acadia Mountains across the bay, so you can see the change of colors on the opposite shore depending on the sun position, reflection of the clouds and the Moon path on the water, and gorgeous fogs licking the mountains and the water.
There are a few other people (3-5) who can be from time to time at the neighboring parts of our sea cove from the last week of June through the middle of August. The rest of the year you most likely will be the only one on the whole shore.
Our beach length is 200 feet. The width of the beach depends on the tide and it changes all day long.
The water is warm in July-August.
The bay does not freeze during winter. A lot of snow near the water looks magical.
Sunrises are right in front of the house from October through April.
Maine is the second sunniest state in the US and there is always good chance for the sunny weather and star-lit nights. There is an annual Acadia Night Star Festival in the fall.

Full Moon and New Moon dates are the best for watching the highest and the lowest tides, walking far away on the sea bottom and looking for the sea treasures. You can walk to the neighboring island during the lowest tide hours, which is a real adventure. There are about 25 such time periods in a year.

The best fall foliage colors are on the first two weeks of October.

Bio-luminescent & star gazing evening kayaking in September-November. Bio-luminescent organisms of the water will swirl and light up with every stroke of your paddle! Make sure that water is calm and that somebody stays on the shore and can call for help in case of emergency.

We have a great garden. There is a collection of conifers that is beautiful at any time of the year. The azalea garden is the best from late April to the end of June. David Austin English Rose garden is the best in July and September. There are many other plants that bloom from April till November. The collection of Japanese maples is spectacular from May till the end of October.

There are apple and cherry trees, high bush blueberry and raspberry plants. Guests can eat any ripe fruits and berries. Cherry – July, blueberry and raspberry – July - August, apples – September - October.

I traveled a lot and I did not find a better place than the coast of Maine, US. I summer here since 2008 and it is never enough for me. I liked this area so much that I have built a house in a lovely sea cove overlooking the mountains of Acadia National Park on Mount Desert Island. I love plants and landscaping. I designed and take care of my small botanical garden in Trenton that is full of colors and scents of blooming plants as well as collections of conifers, Japanese maples, hydrangeas, azaleas, rhododendrons, David Austin roses, and many other plants that make you feel living in the garden.
