This is a large room with a beautiful sleigh bed covered in a cotton quilt. There a convertible chair/bed available for a small child or adult. Desk for computer or grooming. Fresh towels. There is a screened window for fresh air and a free standing fan if you prefer a breeze or white noise to rest comfortably. There is a cord to charge phones or laptops.
There is a small, in room, refrigerator for you to store your own drinks, leftovers or foods required for specific dietary needs. Coolers with ice or water must be stored on vinyl floors.
Your private bath is located a few steps across the hall with a variety of toiletries. There are hooks for hanging damp, used towels on the back of your bathroom and bedroom doors. Your bath is equipped with a full size tub with an overhead shower, a curtain enclosure and stationary safety bar.
We request brief showers mindful of severe drought status in California & for the good of the planet.
There is a very small dog who lives in this home. She loves people but does not get along with other animals. No pets, of any kind, will be accepted. If you are uncomfortable with animals, a different listing may suit you better.
We do have COVID-19 precautions in place for everyone’s health and safety. Long term stays have special accommodations detailed after booking is completed.

This is an established family neighborhood with custom homes. We are surrounded by strawberry, lettuce and celery fields. Off a main street but reasonably quiet during sleeping hours. Conveniently located near restaurants, museums, a movie theater and parks with beautiful hiking trails. Farmer's markets with fresh vegetables, fruits, flowers, crafts and live music on the weekends. (In Season) Beautiful, restored, Victorian homes and turn of the century architecture in surrounding blocks. Churches, Starbucks and Recreational areas for Rodeo, Ag conferences, Laguna Seca Race Track events and a virtual wealth of tourists opportunities on the Monterey Peninsula.

Low key, relaxed, people person. Love meeting guests and hosting them through Airbnb! It’s a great experience to share my home. I've met so many fascinating and friendly travelers from all over the world!

COVID variants continue to evolve and people are traveling from farther distances. For the well being of all guests, every reservation requests must have a government issued photo ID on their Airbnb profile and provide a copy of your COVID immunization records to me, through messages, prior to arrival . Thank you!

After your initial check in and acquainting you with your spaces, I tend to retreat to do my own things. Communication is very, very important to me, especially on the couple of days before your arrival and the day you plan to check in.

Airbnb is different from a hotel. Hosts are opening their homes and giving you personalized attention. The check in times offer some flexibility but a host also has to have a block of time to prepare your room, bathroom and run their own errands.
