Chill out and enjoy the (unheated) pool, gardens, terraces and views of sea and mountains. Fire up the BBQ or take a short stroll down to a rustic bar/restaurant for drinks and tapas.

You'll also have the perfect base to venture further afield. Hosts, Kevin and Sue are always keen to share their knowledge of the real Lanzarote and help you to have a truly memorable stay.

The apartment is self contained and spacious (52 square metres) with it's own front and rear doors. Your bedroom with en-suite, fully tiled, shower room has double bed, sofa, wardrobe, chest of drawers, table and chairs .
The sitting room has a comfortable sofa, Internet TV and a large table which provides basic cooking facilities including Microwave/grill, double burner electric hob, kettle, toaster, Dolce Gusto coffee machine, ample fridge and a plastic bowl for washing up. All rooms have windows which overlook a private terrace with views to the mountains.

Conil is a tranquil, village in the heart of the island. A small supermarket, welcoming rustic restaurant and the village Sociadad are all within easy walking distance. The nearby town of Tias (4km) has numerous excellent and good value bars and restaurants, banks, shops, large supermarket and a couple of takeway outlets for delicious local food.

The Villa is surrounded by open countryside and there are are various walking trails on our doorstep.

Lanzarote is a beautiful Island. Sue and I love exploring its towns and villages and visiting the amazing creations of Cesar Manrique. A day out with friends or visitors, dipping into the unique shops and artisan markets and sampling the local tapas and wine is ideal.

The island has a fascinating history and we never tire of its year round program of fiestas and carnivals. Sue enjoys yoga and photography, is an avid reader and teaches part time

I am a passionate conservationist and love sailing and scuba diving (in particular, close encounters with all kinds of sharks). My wish list includes diving outside of the cage with a great white shark.

We both enjoy exploring the wild, less well known areas of Lanzarote and are happy to advise guests on interesting routes and activities.

We speak basic Spanish and a little French but we are not fluent

We live at the villa all year round and enjoy meeting new people. We are happy to chat and share our knowledge of places to eat, and visit, walks and cycle routes, wine tasting, shopping, beaches, golf, buses etc.

We speak basic Spanish and French but we are unfortunately not fluent. However, with a little patience on both sides, communication shouldn't be a problem
