Saan ka pupunta

Brown Hill Creek, or Willawilla in Kaurna, is a beautiful creek that flows from Crafers in the Adelaide Hills, through a deep woodland valley, and down into Mitcham.
Majestic river red gums over 300 years old line the banks and are regenerating into a wonderful native woodland. This wonderland was once a favourite camping, hunting and gathering ground for Kaurna People.

May rating na 5.0 mula sa 5 batay sa 10 review.

So much fun! Haley and Alex were very knowledgeable and were happy to answer any and all questions. Brown Hill is a beautiful location and we were lucky enough to see quite a few of its local residents! Great experience overall and would definetly come again. 😁👍

A great way to spend an evening and learn about bandicoots from those studying them. As with any nature-based activity, what you see depends on the day, but the walk was great and I appreciated learning new things about conservation.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with The Bandi Bunch at Brownhill Creek/Willawilla! From the beautiful history and cultural session with Aunty, a Kaurna elder, around the campfire, to learning about the bandicoot habitat and characteristics, to walking along the creek at night learning about and searching for fascinating creatures in the trees, my kids 5 & 8 and us parents had such a magical and wholesome experience in the valley at The Bee Hub. I cannot thank the organisers enough for their hard work in protecting the bandicoots and other native flora and fauna of the area, but also reaching out to the community to teach them about the beauty in their own backyards. We are in difficult times in the world, but it helps us parents so much when we can tell our kids to look for the helpers, and even better when we can meet them! Looking forward to more adventures with the Bandi Bunch! Thanks, Andrea

This was great. Different from walks I've done in wildlife sanctuaries. I guess because it wasn't animals behind fences we didn't see as many animals but Hayley showed us how to tell who's there. There were kangaroo tracks, bandicoot tunnels into the blackberries, deer hoof-prints and bandicoot diggings. We heard a fox barking, found lichens that glow under UV light, and shone our torches on sleeping cockatoos way up in trees. Other highlights? The stepping-stone bridges across Brownhill Creek, a thriving native revegetation area and maybe my favourite thing... identifying all the animal droppings :) The place is alive! Hayley was definitely a knowledgable guide. I appreciated her positive energy for wildlife conservation.
